This is a
sample of a quiz that was developed to aid in the hiring of new
employees. It seems that it is difficult to determine the
level of actual field skills a prospective employee
may have based solely on a verbal interview . This evaluation
quiz was developed for a remodeling company and was
extremely helpful in determining actual field skills of
employees and how those prospects would fit into the organization.
It reduced considerably the number of employees that were hired
and soon thereafter let go due to lack of abilities expressed
by prospect during interview.
Sometimes an extremely capable prospect may be humble and
not express enough value on their experience
while other prospects may inflate the value of
there experience. By using a simple quiz this remodeling
company was able to more efficiently hire employees with
the actual skills required.
